Mercedes / Lotus Bosch MDG1 (2020+) - Mail-in Unlock

Solution for Bosch MDG1 MRD1/MRG1* ECUs in post-2020 Mercedes models and Lotus Emira i4.

*Compatible ECUs:

• BOSCH MD1CP001 (MRD1) SPC5777M
• BOSCH MG1CP002 (MRG1) SPC5777M

To use this service, you’ll need to ship your ECU to our headquarters for unlocking.

Please make sure to verify your ECU’s eligibility by performing a Bench identification before sending it in for Mail-in Unlock.

Once the unlock is completed, we’ll return the ECU to you, ready for Bench & OBD read/write operations. For Lotus Emira i4, only Bench read/write operations will be available after Mail-in Unlock.

Good news: a dealer update does not impact Mail-in Unlock. 👍

The total shipping cost—calculated at checkout—includes pickup at your location, shipment to our headquarters, and return delivery with insurance. We take care of the entire logistics process.

This service applies to a single ECU only. If your vehicle has two ECUs, you’ll need to purchase the service separately for each unit.

The ECU will be systematically returned to stock. If it was previously tuned, the tuned file will be permanently lost.

Compatibility with third-party tools cannot be guaranteed.
